Queen’s Hall Digital

Queen’s Hall Digital is an online exhibition portal for new work and innovative projects. It focuses on creating opportunities for artists working with digital and moving image technologies and aims to build and connect an international community of artists to local and national audiences.

The Queen’s Hall Digital platform will commission a number of works via a mix of selected works and open calls providing an exciting opportunity for us to get to know what you are making, stimulating interesting discussions that could lead to further opportunities. Things will start simply, but it will grow in terms of size and ambition in the coming years.

It has been developed by Queen's Hall Arts (QHA), the charitable company that manages the venue, Queen’s Hall Arts Centre, Hexham and provides an art service to a large part of rural Northumberland.

QHAC has established itself as a strong base for an extensive range of artistic activity, attracting the best international and national artists from music, drama, dance and national touring comedy to non-professional shows put on by local community groups. In addition to programming within the building, QHA delivers an extensive outreach service bringing workshops and performances to communities throughout Northumberland. QHA receives regular financial support from Northumberland County Council and Arts Council England.
